Our Club Display
theme this year was "Gumball Rally", the mid-'70's movie. With
our theme we went with a combination of performance cars, bright
colours, real gumballs, a 14-foot tall trophy, and many subtleties
that you would recognize if you have seen the movie recently.
Many, many volunteer
hours by Club Members were spent in designing, constructing, and
painting the walls used in this display, the banner (twice), along with the other items
created for this show. (Check out the turtle.!)
All that work paid
off.! We won First Place in Best Club
Display again this year, beating out several dozen other local Car Clubs
in our city.
