33rd International Mustang Meet Photos

This show was held in Winnipeg, MB during the Labour Day long weekend of  August 31 - September 3, 2012, and hosted by the Manitoba Mustang and Ford Association.

This was the second time that Winnipeg had hosted the International since its inception, with the other time being back in 1994. This years Show and Shine was held at the host hotel, the Victoria Inn Winnipeg. The weather  was decent for the entire weekend. Several of the Mustangs and other Fords that attended this event were from Ontario, and many from the Manitoba area; so there were many different cars to look at, and everyone had a great time. There were 246 cars registered this year. Once again there was certainly a large contingent of the '05-'09 Mustangs and Shelbys, as well as a good number of 2010-11's. Some of the other Fords and Mercurys included an original 1965 GT-40, pickups, Torinos, and 6 ex-Police Interceptors. There were a large number of modified Mustangs, Bullitt's, and once again a large number of the Mustangs on hand being 2005 and newer. This trend is certain to continue for some time to come.

There were many AMAC members who made the trek to Winnipeg; with some making the trip over two days, while some drove the full stretch in a single day. It appears that AMAC Club members collected a total of 14 trophies for the Show and Shine. The Club once again brought back the "Club Participation Award" for 2012, for the second year in a row. As well, members participated in the other events including drag racing and cruises. A full listing of trophy winners can be found on the Winnipeg Club's website, at http://www.manitobamustang.com/news/IMM33_Class_Award_Winners.html .

There was great hospitality put on by Winnipeg, and with a lot of volunteers this was certainly a successful weekend; for which they can be very proud of. Hope to see you next year in Bozeman, MT.

Here are just a few of the photos taken that weekend.
